Early Registration Discount Deadline October 31, 2006

The registration fee covers:
Transportation from the airport to the hotel on February 26, 2007
Delegate bag, badge, and materials
Attendance at all lectures and workshops
An evening banquet
Admittance to meetings free of charge for accompany spouse, if space allows

Registration fee does not cover:
Meals while attending the Congress
Banquet fee for accompanying spouse ($38)
Friday tour for participant or spouse ($90 each)
Hotels-See link below for hotels in a wide variety of price ranges that are either reasonably close to the Convention Centre or provide shuttle service
Optional tours-See link for tours anywhere in Africa and indicate you are attending the IRLA Congress

Registration fees for registration by October 31, 2006:

1) $375 for participants from outside Africa
2) $100 for participants from Africa

Registration fees for registration beginning November 1, 2006:

1) $425 for participants from outside Africa
2) $130 for participants from Africa

Pre-registration will conclude February 1, 2007. Those who choose to register after this date may register at the Cape Town Convention Centre on February 26 and 27, 2007, on a space available basis. Banquet and tour tickets must be purchased in the pre-registration process not later than January 31, 2007. These tickets will not be available for purchase at the Convention Centre.

2. Banquet. Spouses who wish to attend the banquet may purchase a ticket through the registration process for $38 per person.

3. Hotels. Participants make their own hotel reservations. The hotels listed on the following web site are either reasonably close to the Convention Center or provide shuttle service. To make a reservation, contact the Housing Bureau of the Cape Town International Convention Center at https://cticc.ttgcompass.com/compass_cticc/webdirect.cfm?code=IRLA01.

4. Tours. Springbok Atlas Tours will provide complimentary shuttle service on February 26 from the airport to hotels reserved at the above web site. An optional tour is offered on Friday March 2. It includes a trip up Table Mountain by cableway for a spectacular view of the city, a mini-tour of Cape Town, and a trip by hydrofoil to Robben Island, where former President Nelson Mandela was imprisoned for many years. The cost for the Friday tour is $90 per person and must be paid through the registration process. For additional tours anywhere in Africa, visit www.springbokatlas.com.

5. Registration Process. Registration form is available here. Payment is to be made in US dollars with a credit card or money order. After the information becomes available on the web site, you may contact Carol Rasmussen at rasmussenc@irla.org if you have additional questions.



Mission Statement

The International Religious Liberty Association will disseminate the principles of religious liberty throughout the world; defend and safeguard the civil right of all people to worship or not to worship, to adopt a religion or belief of their choice, to manifest their religious convictions in observance, promulgation, and teaching, subject only to the respect for the equivalent rights of others; support the right of religious organizations to operate freely in every country by their establishing and owning charitable or educational institutions; and organize local, regional, and national chapters as well as seminars, and congresses.
