IRLA Strengthens Partnership with American Religious Town Hall

Dr John Graz, IRLA Secretary General, recently presented a report to the board of one of America’s longest-running syndicated television programs dedicated to the free expression of religion. The American Religious Town Hall, founded in the 1950s, is a weekly program that brings together panelists from a broad range of Protestant, Roman Catholic and Jewish groups to discuss matters of faith.

At its annual board meeting, held November 18 to 21, Dr Graz reported on the activities of IRLA around the world, as well as preparations for the Seventh IRLA World Congress, which will be held in April 2012 in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic.

Dr Bert Beach, former IRLA Secretary General, has been a panelist and producer for the American Religious Town Hall for some 30 years, and has established a tradition of strong relations between the two associations. www.americanreligious.org
